As a veteran, you may have suffered from the sky-rocketing rates of unemployment, homelessness, alcoholism, substance abuse, or post-traumatic stress from your time in military service.
The sad truth is these ailments lead to over twenty-two suicides a day among American veterans.
This is inexcusable.
Veterans are being left behind by the country they have sworn to protect. For many veterans, this creates a sense of low self-worth and esteem.
But you can break the cycle.
Deprogramming Oppressive Self-Belief Systems
You should never feel ashamed of your life journey.
Even if you have gone to extremely dark places, it doesn’t mean you have to lose hope.
As a veteran myself, I know what it’s like to feel unworthy, unloved, and forgotten by the country I gave 15 years of my life to protect.
There were times where I felt like I was too far gone to heal. But through remembering my divine blueprint through spiritual practice, I was able to establish purpose in life.
You can too.
What if you could release pain, trauma and depression?
What if you could understand why things happen to you?
What if you broke out of old patterns of behavior, and loved yourself unconditionally?
The oppressive self-belief systems you are holding on to are crippling all the beauty and power that still dwells inside you. You must deprogram these false understandings of the self, and call yourself back to life to manifest everything you ever needed.
Finding Purpose Through Spirituality
Paul Selig has an amazing quote in his Book of Mastery:
“I know Who I am.
I know What I am.
And I Know How I serve.”
You can find this same sense of self-understanding.
Everybody’s spiritual journey is different. It’s not religion—there are no rules—spirituality provides opportunities for growth and awakening that can empower you to discover your life purpose.
It’s time to accept that you have been called into life with a purpose from God. Your existence is not a mistake or worthless—you have been called to walk the path of pain and trauma in order to overcome it.
As a veteran, this can be hard to believe. But you are a warrior. You have been asked to serve the universe in a way that most people cannot bear.
And you rise to the occasion.
The negative things you tell yourself are lies. You’ve been programmed by society and the government to believe things about yourself that aren’t true, and it’s time to let those go.
You’ve experienced pain. You’ve endured trauma. But that doesn’t mean your life doesn’t still hold incredible value.
At Ascended Warrior, we’re a community of veterans dedicated to discovering our life purpose.
We’ve been in dark places. We’ve risen to love ourselves.
You can find the same love for yourself.
