Upon return to civilian life, veterans are prone to experience depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger, and a general disinterest in the things that used to bring them the most joy.

It is difficult for veterans to heal. It’s difficult to forgive; as many veterans are not taken care of by the country that they gave so much for.

But spirituality can help veterans to repair their lives and feel full again.

The harsh truth is 22 veterans commit suicide every day. Over 30% of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans have been diagnosed with depression and/or PTSD. 50% of those diagnosed do not seek treatment, and out of the half that do seek treatment, only half of them receive “minimally adequate treatment.”

The way our veterans are treated is an absolute travesty.

If you are a veteran, you know how difficult civilian life can be. It can be difficult to understand your life’s purpose, release pain and trauma, and speak your truth.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

You are created with the same divine blueprint as the universe. To connect with your greater purpose means discovering your truth, learning to speak that truth, and embracing your divinity.

We are put on this earth to grow and evolve our souls. For veterans, the quest to do so is especially difficult. Feeding your soul through a life of intense devotion, warfare, and trauma may not seem like something worth embracing; but that couldn’t be more wrong.

With a combination of ancient wisdom and new age research, you can discover your spiritual purpose and illuminate your sacred life’s purpose.

Spirituality can help you to determine their greatest gifts and strengths, accept your shortcomings, and revolutionize the way you view yourself.

Connecting to your inner wisdom and guidance can reveal a greater understanding of the universe’s plan beyond your identity as a soldier.

Once you have cultivated this new method of thinking, the innate wonder, desire, and questioning of one’s life purpose becomes a peaceful endeavor. It becomes easier to reach your full potential, because you are in touch with your full potential.

You might feel like it’s too late for you to manifest your dream life, or that you are too far gone to be healed.

But the spirit of the universe doesn’t see a broken self; it sees an open soul.

You have probably given your blood, sweat, and tears without restraint to your country until you had literally nothing left to give.

You may have hit rock bottom.

But spirit can help you to discover your own path and truth to get in contact with who you truly are. Not religion, not cults; spirit.

You are a warrior. You can be honored, supported, and empowered to build the life skills needed to integrate and thrive in the world.

Through guidance, education, and advocacy of spiritual studies, you can heal.

It’s time to let go of deeply ingrained trauma and abuse.

It’s time to experience unconditional and transformative self love.

It’s time to shake off the cycle of depression and fear.

This is possible for every veteran through spirituality. Spirit heals warriors, as you have to do is be open to it.
