Episode Transcript: Location as Teacher — Choosing Where We Incarnate

Thank you for coming back and for listening. Today I want to talk about the turbulence in our world — the shaking of old allegiances, countries in trade wars and literal wars, and all the posturing from global leaders. Underneath that, I want to look at the choices we make when we incarnate, especially the choice of where our soul is born.

When a soul chooses a place, it isn’t just saying, “I’ll grow up American,” or German, or Palestinian. It’s saying: I will take on that land’s karma — its tools, its opportunities, and its challenges. Each lifetime is part of a cumulative journey back toward Source: becoming more empathetic, using our gifts more openly, and staying connected to our higher selves while in physical form. Location plays a huge role in those lessons.

The Karmic Blueprint of a Place

I’m in the United States; I grew up in the D.C. area. America carries powerful karma: incredible strengths and profound wounds. Think about the settlers who came fleeing religious persecution — the courage to leave the known is imprinted in the soil. The shadow is what happened upon arrival: taking land from others. Both the light and the shadow are part of the land’s energetic record.

Souls born here inherit that imprint: courage, patriotism, reinvention — and also the karmic debts of colonization, slavery, and ongoing injustices. Whether or not we personally lived through those eras, the karmic ties remain active and shape who we become.

The same is true elsewhere: South America, Africa, Japan, Australia — places with ancient histories or parallel colonial patterns. When your soul chooses a country, it’s choosing a curriculum: the contracts you’ll hold, the cycles you’ll face, and the gifts available to you.

A Planet in Re-Patterning

What I’m receiving in meditation and channeling is that we’re in a karmic re-branding of boundaries. The global “map” is shifting — not only in geopolitics but energetically:

Roles are changing: who is “powerful,” who “protects,” who is cast as “villain” or “undeveloped.”
Nations that led for decades are reassessing their place.
Other countries are being asked to find their own voice and power rather than following old scripts.

This can feel scary. We don’t know what tomorrow looks like, how markets will react, or what will change next. Spirit’s guidance: this period is intentional. Where your soul chose to incarnate helps anchor these shifts. Treat location as a teacher — like an ancestor — and ask what your land is teaching you now.

Unfeathering the Nest

My dad uses a phrase I love: unfeathering the nest — those times when everything seems to fall apart at once. It’s precisely then that we’re willing to ask deeper questions: What path have I missed? What can I heal? What can I change? On a global level, the nest is being unfathered. Roles and borders are in motion, and our DNA and the soil itself are being re-tuned.

From a purely human perspective, this is overwhelming — jobs, bills, disasters. From the soul’s perspective, it’s a profound opportunity. We agreed to come now, in these places, with these gifts and these challenges.

Guided Meditation: Location as Your Teacher

Let’s take a short journey to connect with your soul’s intention for the place you chose.

Settle into your seat. Let your body grow heavy.
Take a few deep breaths — in… and out… in… and out.
Call in the elements:
- North (Earth): plants, animals, stability.
- South (Water): emotion and flow.
- West (Air): intellect and insight.
- East (Fire): passion and transformation.
Feel these energies merge in your heart center.
Send a golden cord from your heart down through your feet into the crystalline core of Mother Gaia. Wrap it gently; offer gratitude. Receive her love up through your body, pausing in your heart before rising to your third eye and crown, then onward to Source.
Call in pure light from above. Invite Archangel Michael to hold a golden bubble around you for your highest good.
Welcome any beings of light — angels, ancestors, star beings, guides — aligned with your highest good to share a message.

Beloved ones, your thoughts and feelings have power. You are anchors of light. Let your higher self guide your actions and voice. You are exactly where you need to be. Say, “I am that I am.” Root into Earth’s core; let her steady you. As the world reorganizes, you are the constant — the anchor. Stand in your light. The lands you chose were blessed by your presence; you took on karmic debts to help release them now. If you’re ready, say, “I release these karmic ties,” and feel light dissolve the old hooks. You are loved, safe, and divine. And so it is.

Gently return to your body. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Take a final breath. We close the circle with gratitude.

The Pleiadian Perspective

I’m told the message above is from the Pleiadians, a star family closely linked to Earth’s evolution. Many feel them as loving “elders” — supportive, invested, and vocal right now. They show souls across the globe as torches: vertical channels drawing light from above and below, cleansing the land and connecting grids of light worldwide.

This “unfeathering” isn’t only political; it’s cellular and planetary. It feels unknown, yet deeply familiar — like remembering who we’ve been all along.

A Card for the Moment: Participation (Four of Fire)

From the Osho Zen Tarot, the Four of Fire — Participation shows four colored beings forming a clover, hands meeting at a spiral. Fire is action. The spiral is transformation. The beings are calm and engaged. The shift isn’t just happening to them — they are participating.

The guidance: We are no longer “students.” We already carry the tools we need. Call your guides and angels. Connect with each other — physically, virtually, energetically. Add your gifts to the collective spiral.

You Are the Teacher Where You Stand

We came not only to learn a location’s karma but to clear it and to teach — sometimes quietly, simply by how we hold our field. Your steady light influences human timelines more than you know.

This is one of the most challenging times to incarnate — natural and global disasters, wars, long-overdue karmic reckonings. But this is why we came: not just to survive or graduate individually, but to be warriors of light — to lead, guide, and hold our spiritual selves in equal balance with our human selves.
